Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is airing the band’s dirty laundry in his recent memoir, No Regrets.
Frehley, who played with the band from 1973-1982 and 1996-2002, claims that former bandmate Gene Simmons had no luck with the ladies before the band, but that he had eventually turned into a sex addict. Frehley also claimed that Simmons lived “in a state of perpetual infestation” with pubic lice.
Although Simmons didn’t comment on Frehley’s claims, he told the Post: “Fact: Ace has been a drug addict and alcoholic for 35 years. Fact: We love Ace and wish him all the best.”
Stay tuned for more updates about tours, KISS tickets and more in 2012.

Has KISS gone country? NO, but they are embracing one of the biggest annual events in country culture: the Houston Rodeo.
The band has no tour dates scheduled in 2011 except for their March 15 appearance at Reliant Stadium to play RodeoHouston. They are just one of the big headlining acts enlisted as part of this year’s musically-varied schedule. Other artists playing include Janet Jackson and Kid Rock, along with some of country’s biggest stars, like Sugarland, Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum, just to name a few.
As odd as it may seem to see KISS and rodeo in the same sentence, the gig is booked! Maybe playing at the rodeo was on Gene Simmons’ bucket list, who knows? But KISS tickets go on sale January 15th if you want to catch the KISS shindig.
